Bad housekeeping and poor room maintenance.
I stayed in 6th floor room# 609.
From the first time I entered the room I found some insects inside the bathroom.
I informed the receptionist I he sent some guys just to remove the insects and put something to kill the insects.
Second issue is that the roof in room 609 has some cracks and it's seems to be falling within period of time.
I will not think about saying at this hotel again. Also, I have taken some pictures and records to warn others not to have the same bad experience. I stayed in 6th floor room# 609.

Comments on the Room
I have been a regular customer of Al Hamra Golden Tulip since 1999 to 2005.
However I visited the Hotel again after a long time, I was told that I was upgraded to Executive Floor, but the room was so small and cramped ....
Internet was too slow to the extent of screen being static on one of the days ....

Meet my expectations
Second stay in that hotel, and for the second time, I was really pleased by the hotel standards and quality.
Comfortable room and bed, clean bathroom.
Food restaurant are nice, but breakfast and buffet can be seen as expensive.
Another point is on some wiring issues... Some cables are not really same to withstand 220V, and TV cable was cut and not properly mended (room 603). Second stay in that hotel, and for the second time, I was really pleased by the hotel standards and quality.

Hotel is OK but suppress the blind rooms (#307)
The overall review is OK and the quality of the hotel is OK. Food and services are OK. But the blind rooms have to be suppressed. I was in 307 and no daylight is very painful.
These kind of rooms can not be priced the same amount as the other ones and this is to be mentioned during booking or at least at the lobby, when the key is given to the customer. good staff - aging hotel
Excellent staff - especially at the reception.
The hotel itself is aging - for instance the business center is closed down; its at current an empty room with some cabes lying around... .
